New Job Circular: Draftsman Position at Shahjalal University of Science and Technology

Shahjalal University of Science and Technology, located in Sylhet, has released a job circular for the position of Draftsman in the Industrial and Production Engineering Department. This circular, with Memorandum No-Reg:/10(15)/5/531, was issued on 22 January, 2024.

Position Details

The university is inviting applications from genuine citizens of Bangladesh to fill one vacancy for the Draftsman position. The selected candidate will be appointed with a pay scale of 16000-38640/= (Grade-10).

Qualification and Experience

To be eligible for the position, candidates must possess a four-year Diploma in Engineering in Civil or an allied subject from a Polytechnic Institute recognized by the Board of Technical Education. It is important to note that a 3rd division/class or equivalent grade in any examination during education will not be acceptable.

Age Limit

The maximum age limit for applicants is 32 (thirty-two) years.

Application Submission

Interested candidates are required to submit their applications along with the following documents:

• MICR Bank Draft of Taka.500/= (Five Hundred) in favor of the Registrar on any Scheduled Bank branch in Sylhet city or pay order of equivalent value (postal order not acceptable)
• 4 (four) copies of passport size attested photographs
• Attested copies of all certificates/testimonials

The application form, along with the required documents, should be submitted in 8 sets to the Registrar’s Office by February 12, 2024. The application form can be obtained directly from the Registrar’s Office during office hours or by sending a self-addressed envelope with an unused postage stamp of Tk 10 (ten). Additionally, the application form can also be downloaded from the university’s website (www.sust.edu).

Working candidates must apply through the appropriate authority. It is important to ensure that the application is complete, as incomplete applications will not be considered. The name of the post must be clearly mentioned on the envelope. Please note that the university authorities will not be responsible for any delay in postal communication.
