Job Opportunity: Manager Merchandising

A multinational buying house, REDLAND IMPORT-EXPORT (HK) COMPANY LIMITED, is currently looking for a Manager Merchandising to join their team.

Job Description / Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee overall order fulfillment process to meet business and performance goals
• Regularly communicate with direct buyers for clarifications and ensure smooth workflow
• Handle and coordinate all samples and obtain necessary approvals within the target date
• Work closely with the production team to address challenges during production and bulk production
• Conduct regular quality checks to ensure high quality, efficiency, and productivity
• Ability to handle multiple orders/styles independently
• Ensure sample and bulk shipments are in accordance with customer’s requirements
• Coordinate and follow up with various departments and entities to ensure smooth production, invoices, and payments
• Motivate and inspire team members to be customer-centric and proactive
• Attend customer meetings locally or abroad and confirm orders

Job Type: Full-time

Educational Requirements:

Graduation/Masters from any reputed institution. Both expatriates and locals can apply. Candidate should have good exposure in knits and understanding of trading in knitted/outerwear.

Experience Requirement:

Between 10-15 years of experience in merchandising. Both men and women are encouraged to apply.

Additional Requirements:

• Good communication skills
• Self-motivated and leadership skills
• Good knowledge of supply chain
• Ability to work under pressure and solve problems

Job Location:

Dhaka, Bangladesh

Salary and Other Benefits:

Gross salary will be Rs. 150,000/- or above.
